Medication does not outright cure mental illness. However, it may help with the management of symptoms.
As a Hospital, medication must be used on daily basis. as a Mental Health Hospital, we combine it with psychotherapy in order to achieve the most effective results and promote recovery.
Each patient has to undergo an admission process called ‘Intake’ when he is accepted to treatment. He is interviewed by a team of Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Social Worker, Therapists, etc. The team examines his condition from all aspects: emotional, physical, mental and environmental, and build him an individual treatment program in accordance. When the staff members decide about the medication dosage, they take everything in account. For example, a diabetic patient won’t receive medicines that might harm his physical condition.
The medical staff decide about the drugs and the nursing staff perform it while monitoring and reporting to the therapists.
